Darren joined our Communications team in August 2024. He is a Journalism graduate with a diverse background in Marketing, Communications, and, most recently, Journalism, where he spent 10 years working for local and national print media. As a journalist, Darren has interviewed everyone from Gay Byrne to Gilbert O’Sullivan, as well as every Taoiseach and Tánaiste from the past decade of Dáil Éireann. He has been nominated for numerous Journalism Awards and won a National Award in 2020 for a series of health stories that received national and international attention as well as resulting in the development of a brand-new hospital building. As a Marketing and Communications specialist, he has collaborated with national brands such as Kollect, Mattress Mick as well as several smaller SMEs.
