Mairéad joined the AsIAm team in May 2024 as Employment Officer with the Adult Support team. In this role, she supports Autistic adults seeking employment and potential employers engaging with Autistic talent. Mairéad has a degree in Community Studies, a Higher Diploma in Further Education, Post Graduate Diploma in Special & Inclusive Education and a Master of Education degree. She lectures in Inclusive Education, Critical Disability Studies, and Equality Studies in both the further and higher education sectors. In addition, Mairéad volunteers with Maynooth Autism Friendly Town group.
