Shauna is a community advisor who joined AsIAm in April 2025. She holds a First-class Honours Degree in Psychology and has volunteered with Jigsaw - The National Centre for Youth Mental health, and with SAOR space - a creative and supportive community for women in Dublin. Shauna is a late diagnosed Autistic Woman who has a passion for scientific research on Autism, and Advocacy in the Autistic Community, particularly for Women, those who are late diagnosed or from marginalised communities. Her lived experience, independent research and academic knowledge helps her to promote and create understanding, connection and positive change. Shauna hopes that in working with AsIAm, she can help Autistic individuals and their families to access the right resources and support.
