Sophie joined the AsIAm team in November 2024 as a Speech and Language Therapist Assistant. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology along with a master's degree in Psychological Science. She has experience working with Autistic people of all ages and their families, as a result of working in Autism specific services for the last 7 years, ranging from pre-schools to residential settings. During her time working in a pre-school with Autistic children, she gained extensive knowledge and experience with various high-tech communication apps. Sophie is passionate about supporting the communication of Autistic children, with a special interest in Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC). Sophie is looking forward to bringing her experience and skills to the AAC Support Team to make a difference in the lives of the Autistic community.
